Linecasting Machinery Limited was established in London in 1962. We were one of the first companies to specialise in the rebuilding of both Intertype and Linotype Hot Metal Typesetting Machines, as well as carrying out servicing work, breakdown calls, removals, and the supply of spare parts. We soon established a reputation for providing high quality equipment with an attention to detail.
The company moved from London to Meopham in Kent in 1986 and then subsequently to new premises in Whitstable in 1989.
In April 2009 after twenty years in Whitstable, we have moved to larger premises in Canterbury Kent where we are now based. This gives us the opportunity to hold more stock machinery and spares for our growing international customer base.
From these premises we can now rebuild machines, supply spare parts and consumables, and load containers for our overseas clients.
We haven't forgotten our heritage though and still hold the largest stock of Hot Metal parts in the UK.
