Linecasting
Machinery Limited was established in London in 1962. We were one
of the first companies to specialise in the rebuilding of both Intertype
and Linotype
Hot Metal Typesetting Machines, as well as carrying out servicing
work, breakdown calls, removals, and the supply of spare parts. We soon established
a reputation for providing high quality
equipment with an attention to detail.
The company moved from London to Meopham in Kent in 1986 and then subsequently
to new premises in Whitstable, just
to the North of Canterbury, Kent, UK
in 1989, where we are now based. It was at this stage that we decided to expand
and supply and refurbish machinery in the area of Print
Finishing and Bookbinding
and more recently Printing
Presses.
From these premises we can now rebuild machines,
supply spare parts & consumables,
and load containers for our overseas clients.
We haven’t forgotten our heritage though and still hold
the largest stock of Hot
Metal parts in the UK.
